about Alex
Meet Alex
Alex Weeks is a Napa Valley-based creator who moves fluidly between technology and art. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and music producer, he performs with the Napa-based band Thru The Haze while also pursuing solo projects in songwriting and production.
Alex is also a published author, drawing on a regular meditation practice and 25+ years in IT infrastructure and architecture for subject matter. That range isn’t scattered. It’s one person applying the same instincts: pattern recognition, discipline, patience with iteration, whether it’s mix console, a manuscript, or a system architecture diagram.
Rooted deeply in the Napa community through nonprofit and board work, he brings that same hands-on involvement to civic life as he does to his creative and technical work. Across all of it, the thread is consistent: building things — songs, systems, or ideas — with care and precision, and a willingness to keep learning new crafts rather than settle into one.
